I want every person to be transformed by the Bible in their mother tongue

About Me
Several years I have travelled to many places to run Bible seminars and courses, to record Bible media, and to coach others . My passion is to help people connect with God and his Word. I love discovering who He is and what He wants to do in and through me.

When not doing any of the above, I attempt to read a few books and to learn several new skills at once (not always successfully). I also love a good chat with friends over a meal, games night or a hike in nature.
Bible illiteracy describes the inability or motivation to read and interpret the Bible with sufficient understanding.
End Bible Poverty
Bible illiteracy can happen when someone doesn't have access to the Bible. In a village in Papua New Guinea, people in the church couldn't participate in our Bible study. The reason: Most of them couldn't read and they also didn't have the Bible in their heart language. This experience really impacted me and I wanted to see a change.

The initiative "End Bible Poverty Now" works towards every language group having access to at least part of the Bible by 2033. These past couple of years I've been involved with Bible media translation and recording.
Bible Distribution in Germany
But also in Germany there is a form of Bible illiteracy. Even though Germany is built on Christian values, many Germans don't know the content of the Bible anymore. As part of "End Bible Poverty Now", we distribute Bibles. The goal is that every home will be able to receive a Bible as a gift.
Transitions themselves are not the issue, but how well you respond to their challenges. "

Coaching students and staff in transition
I have encountered a lot of people, especially those who live in a foreign country, to go through challenging transitions. Especially starting a new job, ministry, or going home or to a different location can be tough.

"I had this feeling like was all by myself, and it was overwhelming...I felt lost and unsere what to do with my life. I ended up not pressing into the Lord and made some unwise decisions."
This reflects the experience of many students I have come in contact with in the past.

Going through transition can be challenging. My heart is to assist those who are affected through online coaching.
